A very sharp, gem clear and undamaged prism of Phenakite that exhibits the rare twin form that I believe was only found at this location once about 8 years ago. The termination has the small re-entrant notches and extra faces that are a textbook example of a rotated twin. Granted this type of twinning does not leap out at you, but it is distinct and clear. Even without it, the crystal is a very good Phenakite on its own.
A neatly formed and classic Elbaite mushroom in bubblegum pink. A sharp example excellent condition. There is damage only on the base and rear area where it was removed from the matrix. That is not visible from the display side which is completly undamaged. Excellent translucency and form, this is a very good value for this uncommon type of tourmaline!
