stock #15.1-878
Santa Eulalia, Aguiles Serdan
Chihuahua, Mexico
2.6 x 2.4 x 1 CM (thumbnail)
price: $240
Fall 2015

An old Santa Eulalia Rhodochrosite with sharp, deep red and gemmy crystals in fine condition. The clarity of the Rhodos sets this apart and is quite esthetic. The contrast with the sulphide matrix is especially attractive.
Azurite w. Malachite - Large classic Tsumeb.
stock #17.1-AX-5-052
Tsumeb
Otjikoto Region, Namibia
6.8 x 3.8 x 1.8 CM (cabinet)
price: $2950
Fall 2015

Very striking, esthetic, sharp and sizable Azurite with deep color and areas of Malachite alteration. In excellent condition and with textbook quality form. Despite all the many Azurites from Tsumeb over the past century, such fine examples have always been highly prized and are rarely available. Much better in person

3 x 1.8 x 1.4 CM (small miniature/ large thumbnail (toenail))
price: $170

Bright, sparkling and lustrous curved Mimetite crystals from Tsumeb in perfect condition. A small but fine example that looks good from every angle. Esthetic yet very affordable for this quality.

Chihuahua, Mexico
5.7 x 2.9 x 2.7 CM (cabinet)
price: $320
Fall 2015

An excellent Psuedomorph from Niaca with bright, lustrous metallic gold and silver hues. The condition is excellent and the esthetics are far better than most. These have occasionally been found in this famed mine, but never very many and none for some years.
Carrollite, Chalcopyrite & Calcite
stock #15.1-901
Kamoya, Kambove, Katanga Copper Crescent
Katanga (Shaba), Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire)
3 x 2.6 x 2.2 CM (small miniature/ large thumbnail (toenail))
price: $380
Fall 2015

Fine, sharp silver Carrollite crystals are set on contrasting matrix in an esthetic arrangement. The crystals show complex modifications and growth patterns. Some micro crystals of what looks like Vesigneite are also present. Green copper staining and secondary minerals adds additional contrast. In very good condition which is remarkable for such a delicate mineral. Far better than average.
Wulfenite with minor Mimetite
stock #ALEC-21-050
Rowley Mine, (Reliance Mine), Theba, Painted Rock District
Arizona, United States
2.2 x 2 x 1.8 CM (thumbnail)
price: $290
Fall 2015

Well formed, esthetic and choice, these Wulfenite crystals have textbook form. From the final mining of this classic locale, this is in fine condition. A dusting of micro Mimetites and tiny balls gives some faces a slightly matte look, others are extra lustrous. A few crystals also show inclusions of the orange red Mimetite balls.
Bismuth
stock #7.AE-454
Xianghualing Tin Mine, Linwu County, Chenzhou
Hunan, China
4.3 x3.8 x 2.4 CM (miniature)
price: $160
Fall 2015

An older specimen from circa 2002, the location we have is shown here, but is similar to more recent materials from Jiangxi Province. Some crystal faces are seen but much o9f the form is typically from filling voids in the veins and so are casts of negative space. Pure and hefty Bismuth.
Ferroaxinite- large compound crystals
stock #7.AE-344
Polar Urals - Tyumenskaya Oblast
Western Siberian Region, Russia
6.7 x 5.4 x 1.4 CM (cabinet)
price: $650
Fall 2015

Big and very lustrous Axinite crystals reaching 6.7 CM in size, with razor sharp edges. Transparent on the edges and translucent elsewhere, this is an older, flashy and eyecatching specimen. These have become quite rare (and very expensive) over the past decade or so, this size and quality was never common even then. Now considered a classic find, this example is a relative bargain. Some slight chipping but far less than most do and displayable without being noticable.
