An extremely rare vanadium mineral. Brackebushite occurs here as black prismatic micro xls up to 1 MM. in size. Associated with reddish-brown micro Descloizite xls. A true rarity from a long-extinct location. This is an old specimen from the former Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences collection and retains the original P.A.S. label.

A very nice example of an alpine classic from Switzerland. Extremely esthetic piece hosting a lovely rosette cluster of platy, irridesent hematite 3.2 CM across perfectly situated, The Hematite crystals sit on a 5.3 doubly terminated, gemmy, clear quartz crystal. No damage at all on the Hematite or the main Quartz, with close examination only a minor contact is found on a tiny quartz xl that is not noticable. The composition for this is exceptional.

A fine specimen of a tough-to-get item. The Smithsonite here occurs pseudomorphing after saddle-shaped Dolomite xls up to 1.5 CM. in size. The yellow-colored Smithsonite is cadmium-bearing,and is famous for this reason from this old location. The specimen's surface shows a very pleasant velvet-like sparkly luster.
