A good color Anapaite from the type location. This unusual Hydrated Phosphate mineral is sometimes found in association with fossil clams. This specimen has a few Clam fossil segments on the matrix but is mostly about the sheaves of sharp crystals in tight clusters. There is some bruising seen with magnification as is typical but many crystals are quite distinct, perfect and show very good green color. An affordable, moderately rare and attractive specimen.

An excellent Tiger Cerussite with classic form, formerly in the Larry White collection, obtained from Shields Flynn. In good condition overall, there is also some chipping damage that can be seen. These bruises are forgivable on such a well formed classic Arizona piece, especially from Tiger. Essentially all of the specimen is Cerussite in twinned habit, there is a small zone of adhering matrix and a painted number from the White collection. Q

A clear sharp single scalenohedron from the famed Bigrigg mine. From an older European collection this is at least 80 years old but likely much older. There is a number attached that could be removed if desired. Quite clean by naked eye but some contacts and rough bits found with magnification, all under 1mm. An outstanding Ojuela Adamite, with sharp glassy undamaged crystals on contrasting matrix. This is not the crumbly type gossan but a solid specimen with the Adamites well protected in a vug. In person the color is a little deeper and more intense than in the photos. This quality has not been seen for a few years. Former Marty Zinn piece, choice.

Rutile stars are one of the most amazing mineral habits and when they grow from a flat crystal of Hematite it is especially impressive. This is a good example, very nice luster and in good condition despite being so delicate. The find at Novo Horizonte has given us a nice array of these, a perfect definition of the word epitaxial.

The type of bright electric blue Azurite that was major news in the mineral world. The association of crystallized Malachite adds an strong contrast to the lustrous Azurite crystals. I good condition there is chippining at outer sides but the center is clean and undamaged. Better in person, when these were first found a specimen of this quality would be priced in the thousands. This was a huge find and so the prices have become much more affordable for a choice Azurite. As of 2014 the Azurite zone is finished and no more is expected.

A really colorful dark green Rosasite with Malachite on a matrix of clear rhombs of Calcite. The specimen is covered with small spheres and botrytoids of velvety Rosasite intermixed with Malachite. The condition is choice and the contrast with the white Calcite crystals sets everything off well. A little different esthetics than the usual Rosasite.

A perfect complete Carthage Corner habit Fluorite crystal showing the pyramidal etched growth that is so desirable from the Elmwood mine. A pale purple hue is seen from some angles but the interior is flawlessly clear and colorless. Naturally etched from the corner section of a large perfect cube this rare habit is best at the Elmwood in Carthage, Tennessee.
