Cornwall, England
3.7 x 3.2 x 2.2 CM (miniature)

Fall 2015

Intense blue color Liroconite in masses and crystal aggregates from the famous locale, Wheal Gorland. One of the mineral holy grails, Liroconite is usually painfully expensive and is highly coveted. This example has a few complete crystals, massive areas most of which have damage seen with a loupe. Not for a perfectionist and not priced in the 4 figures either. Despite the inevitable flaws on this delicate mineral it is a fine colorful specimen and rich in terms of quantity of Liroconite. Far, far more affordable than most!
