ORDERING
Please call us or send us an e-mail if you have questions or want to see additional photos of a piece. You can order by phone, mail or from the website using the paypal system. We guarentee all our stock is as described and we make every effort to indicate any damage that may exist. We also strive to be accurate in our identification, location data and photographs. We do not manipulate images and colors! We offer full return privilage and immediately refund purchase price for minerals returned in the same condition as sent. Since we are often away, we make every effort to fill your orders as quickly as possible, but delays are certainly possible. Please contact us directly if you have a time contraint.

PAYMENT
Checks are fine but we will wait for them to clear (usually 3 days) if we don’t know you yet. Mastercard, Visa and American Express are all accepted. Our website works through Paypal which is fast, secure, and allows you several other options for payment. Shipping costs will be added to your total. We do not charge excess fees for handling, only the real costs of packaging and shipping! As already mentioned, insurance is optional, recommended for most things and required for those few extra delicate items. Please make checks payable to Kevin Downey. Massachusetss residents please add 5% sales tax.

SHIPPING
Shipment will be your choice of Federal Express (air or ground, worldwide) or US Postal Service. We package carefully but recommend insurance for transit loss or damage. We will estimate the shipping costs without any “handling fees” and can refund any overage. For some very delicate minerals we encourage in-person pickup, either in Florence, MA, or at a show. If that is not possible we must require shipping insurance for those few ultra sensitive items.

We are actively seeking and acquiring specimens for collections and dealers with specific needs. Please let us know you interests. We have a substantial inventory of fine minerals and will be happy to provide you with photographs of pieces requested.
