A bright, sparking plate of Calcites that look very much like some of the classic Shullsburg pieces. This is however Chinese and a fine example that is not typical. It comes from the Shuikoushan mine better known for its Sphalerites. Crystals reach 3.7 CM but most are smaller and very clear. Almost absolutely perfect (but not quite!) there are some micro sized edge rubs and one hard to find chip. Despite this the piece display very well and would be fine even for some of the more picky collectors who appreciate an unusual locale and great esthetics. Price adjusted for the imperfections but they are truly minor.
