A well crystallized example of this rare, delicate classic from the original Woods Chrome mine location in Pennsylvania. These are hard to find in any condition and this example is especially fine. The individual crystals are almost 2 centimeters in size, many showing sharp hexagonal form. This specimen was part of an old library collection supplied by Pennypacker well over 100 years ago. The recent Minerological record article describes this find in great detail. Some minor scuffing can be seen in the photos but for such an old, delicate piece the condition is exceptional! The color is a pearly white with a hint of green tinge that shows better from some angles.
