Large bright iridescent crystal aggregate, undamaged from finds in the 1990's. Individual complex crystals up to 3.3 CM showing purple, blue and yellow iridescence primarily. Looks better in person, holds well among chalcocites from any location. Not just black and ugly!

A classic form of Barite from Stoneham. The crystals reach 6.6 CM, well terminated and with good deep blue color. The main crystals are complete and undamaged, but a minor crystal is broken near the base, not distracting but it is there. Looks fine on all sides, better than average from a well known location.
An exceptional, well formed Sphalerite from a long gone classic locality. Big, textbook clustered crystals reach 3.6 CM and show elegant twinning. This is far better than most "good" specimens from Tri state, it is admittedly more expensive but a very good value for the price. While this is a "black, ugly" mineral the overall esthetics and luster on this one makes this an remarkable and desirable addition for any collection.
A rare Rhodochrosite from the Iron regions of Michigan, ex. John Marshall collection. Much better than just a "location piece" the rhodos here are quite bright, clear and sharp. Most are isolated Rhombs but with some clusters in rosette form.
This is type of Calcite that made the Elmwood mine world famous! Super sharp, lustrous gem clear (way better in person) with fine amber/cognac zones. Overall in fine condition, both main terminations are complete with recrystallized contacts and stepped tips. The small side car crystal has a tiny nick on its termination that can be hidden by display angle. A very good value for the price, as these have become very uncommon in good quality since the mines have been closed.

A FINE classic American Tourmaline specimen, Ex Frank Hess collection. Undamaged, unrepaired, doubly terminated Elbaite (3.5 CM) is penetrating the termination of a compound quartz crystal. A small green zone is visible at one termination but mostly this is just fine raspberry hue. This specimen dates from pre 1950 Pala area finds, it was sold by Schortmann's minerals but no mine attribution is given, it may have been from any of several small prospects or one of the more famous mines. Classic form and far better than average quality and esthetics for a fine San Diego pegmatite specimen!

A fine older classic specimen that presents wonderful crystals in an esthetic sculpture. Great patina and form, the crystals reach 2.3 CM and are very well isolated. From any angle this is an exceptional display piece that is in perfect condition. There is a lot of Copper in the mineral markets, but this quality is simply world class and a relatively great value.
