Deep red Spinel (spinel twinned) with good sharrp form, A very eyecatching thumnail, that is not quite a true gemmy transparency but is translucent on the edges. The color of this one is far better than most and the form is distinctive. Attractively priced too.

A very rich, estheticly presented and fine specimen of the rarest of the Ruby Silver minerals, Proustite. A large 4.6 CM crystalized mass of nearly pure proustite in association with minor acanthite crystals rises from the matrix. There is no visible damage even under 10x magnification. The individual proustites are brilliant ruby color, lustrous and well formed up to 3 mm in size and arranged on clusters. A great piece that shows the specie well from a great Silver locality, While this is not going to compete with the best old German and Chilean examples, it is affordable and pretty. This is one of the best I have seen from Morocco, likely from the Imiter Mine but I can not confirm the locality beyond the Bou Azzer region.
Simply incredible! A brilliant red cluster of calcite on matrix with small realgar crystals. Killer esthetics. We obtained this at the mine in 2003 and sold it shortly after- it was the best of the find. Since then we have not seen anything like this. We are pleased to have it back again for resale, The largest calcite crystal is 7.2 CM, and the piece displays well from multiple angles, but it does have a cleave on the backside. The red color on the calcite is from both a coating and inclusions that is primarily realgar, some recent analysis of similar materials have fund trace amounts of some rare rsenic minerals, this one has not been tested for those. Really striking color, the display side has no noticable damage. This will really jump out of any calcite display!
