Wulfenite
stock #8.1-342
Tuokexun (Toksun) Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang, Uygur region, China
4.9 x 4 CM (miniature)
price: $1250

Fantastic bright red-orange color and eyecatching form, this is a very 3- dimensional crystal cluster. There is almost no matrix, just interlocked bright wulfenite. Some damage can be found but not badly detracting most of the major crystals are quite good and the overall quality is fine. This wulfenite has unusual geometric outlines on some crystals that show complex parellel intergrowths. Good luster and presentation, a very good value.
Wulfenite
stock #8.1-337
Tuokexun (Toksun) Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang, Uygur region, China
6.8 x 5.9 CM (cabinet)
price: $600

A very unusual and attractive Wulfenite of exceptional delicacy. This is an unusual habit for this find (and almost all wulfenite localities) that is a little like some older San Fransisco Mine and Tiger pieces, but not quite. This habit has irregular shaped blades with thin, tapered edges and seem to be complexly recrystalized and so seem very rounded and less geometric. The crystals are insanely thin sometimes thinner than a piece of paper. Consequentially there is edge damage in many areas, and some breakage but many of the larger crystals are relatively good and complete. For this ultra delicate style this is the best condition example I have seen, it A good piece for the collector who seeks the unusual and can accept some damage.
Wulfenite
stock #8.1-336
Tuokexun (Toksun) Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang, Uygur region, China
5.4 x 4.2 CM (miniature)
price: $1750

A brilliant red-orange cluster of sizable wulfenites (nearly 3 cm) that is incredibly 3 dimensional and lusterous. Simply a fine specimen that has two habits well presented in a stacked jumble. The condition is excellent for the find, damage is mostly hidden on the display side and is not distracting in context. The faces on these crystals is like glass, much like a fine Red Cloud piece but far less expensive!
Wulfenite
stock #8.1-338
Tuokexun (Toksun) Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang, Uygur region, China
7.8 X 6.1 CM (cabinet)
price: $700

A showy and delicate wulfenite with orange-brown color that sparkles n good lighting. The matrix is a thing gossan and the backside has many small vugs loaded with small bright red crystals. This has less damage than typical and since these delicate crystals are paper thin it is still in remarkably good condition. However since this is not pristine, the price is far less than if perfect (over 3000.$ in China when available). Displays well, this is an esthetic example.
Wulfenite
stock #8.1-369
Tuokexun (Toksun) Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang, Uygur region, China
9.1 x 7.7 CM (cabinet)
price: $2750

Big, lusterous and colorful, this wulfenite has bright crystals reaching over 3 CM in size. Very strong visual impact, most of the largest crystals are also undamaged, and several habits can be seen. There is some damage but it is easilly overshadowed by very fine large red crystals.
SOLD Wulfenite with epitaxial cerussite
stock #SOLD 8.1.343
Tuokexun (Toksun) Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang, Uygur region, China
3.4 x 2.6 CM (miniature)
price: $0

A very cute toenail size wulfenite that displays the epitaxial cerrusite very well. There are 2 different habits of wulfenite as well, which adds to the interest. For such a delicate piece with crystals of only about 1 mm thickness, this is in fine shape. The only notable damage is the edge chipping of the right side of the rear crystal that I have shown in the second and 4th photos. It is hidden from view by what I think is the best display angle anyway, but it is there and it keeps the price down of course. An unusual and quite pretty specimen!
Wulfenite (stacked bladed form crystals)
stock #8.1-349
Tuokexun (Toksun) Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang, Uygur region, China
6.1 x 4 CM (cabinet)
price: $460

Bright red-orange with glass luster this is an eye catching arrangement. Crystals reaching over 2.5 CM in a pile up on a small amount of gossan matrix, this is very attractive and somewhat unusual for this find. Most crystals here have a jagged, multiply re-crystalized thin edges, There is damage here as usual in these very slender and delicate blades, but the presentation is still good overall. A very good value at this price if you don't need absolute perfection, but still like a good displayable specimen.
Wulfenite with minor Cerrusite
stock #8.1-344
Tuokexun (Toksun) Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang, Uygur region, China
4.3 x 3.3 CM (miniature)
price: $500

A small miniature with big color and fine form. Rich red -orange crystals over 2 cm across with lusterous faces show excellent growth structures and "faceting". For such a delicate form the condition is excellent, however there is minor edge chipping and some broken tiny crystals as seen in the photos, but the display side presents well and is excellent for the locale.
