Sphalerite, (Ruby Jack) on calcite Ex john Marshall
stock #0020-JM-4303
Pitcher, Ottawa County
Oklahoma, United States
8 x 6.8 CM (cabinet)
price: $200

Bright, gemmy and unusually showy, this is a great rubyjack from the classic Tristate location of Pitcher. No damage. This specimen was obtained from the legendary Chink Enders in 1965. Far better esthetics and brighter color than typical, very rare in this quality.
Pyromorphite (Ex Lechner, John Marshall)
stock #0100-JM-141
Bleistadt
Bohemia, Czech Republic
6.2 x 4.5 CM (cabinet)
price: $350

A very old specimen from Bleistadt, this vuggy matrix holds about half a dozen lustrous Pyros. Similar but slightly darker than Bad Ems color these crystals reach 9mm. From the famous Lechner collection that was sold by Schortmann in the 60's. Classic and very rare, in excellent condition.
Galena (Spinel Twins) ex. John Marshall
stock #1083-JM 3685
Reliquia Mine, Huallance District, Dos de Mayo Province
Huanuco Department, Peru
7.8 x 7 CM (cabinet)
price: $300

Good Spinel twins are rare from Peru, these are especially fine, very sharp and attractive. From John Marshall's worldwide Galena collection, this is a very distinctive and esthetic piece, he held it in high regard.
Galena with Sphalerite
stock #10.1-066
Mid Continent Mine, Baxter Springs
Kansas, United States
9.8 x 8.9 CM (cabinet)
price: $220

A nice, well composed galena from the Mid Continent mine. Good luster on crystals that reach 3 cm, displays very well and a nice addition to any suite of Galena or Tri-state classics. Sharp and excellent damage wise. Specimens like this have become scarce as the mines have been closed for several decades now.
Beryl var. Emerald on Calcite
stock #10.1-067
Cosquez
Boyaca, Colombia
6 x 3.9 CM (small cabinet/ large miniature)
price: $475

A very bright, doubly terminated, deep green emerald well positioned on a druzy calcite matrix. Excellent condition, good transparency, color and form. Obtained in Colombia in 2011, this is a very good value in a gem crystal specimen, this quality has become much harder to find at affordable prices.
Fluorite (Gemmy Phantom)
stock #6.2-661
Hangshaping
Hunan, China
7.6 x 7 CM (cabinet)
price: $475

Perfect. Even at 40x magnification there is not the slightest flaw on this crystal! A simple (3.6 Cm diagonal) sharp cube sits on contrasting matrix. With glasslike luster, purplish phantoms and a wonderful presentation architecture, this is simply a fine display specimen. From this 2007 find very few were undamaged, this specimen was selected at the mine from over a thousand pieces, it is NOT typical!
SOLD Manganite (fine classic form)
stock #SOLD 10.1-002
Ilfeld, Nordhausen, Harz Mts
Thuringia, Germany
6.8 x 4.6 CM (cabinet)
price: $875

An excellent example of this German classic, with the brilliant luster that is most desirable. Fine and sharp crystals to 2.9 CM long are clustered esthetically on an all manganite matrix. Despite the age of this specimen it is in excellent condition damage wise, the main crystals are all perfect. Ex Fred Parker Collection, the Ilfeld manganites of this vintage are the best in the world, this piece is far better than average.
Fluorapatite
stock #8DK-164
Imilchil
Anti-Atlas Mts., Morocco
6.5 x 2.8 CM (cabinet)
price: $400

A big and transparent to translucent Fluorapatite with glassy luster. I have never seen a larger Apatite from Imilchil, the next largest was just 4 CM and considered huge. Over all in very good but not perfect condition, there is a contact at the rear and very small but visible nicks on some edges of the termination. As the photos show this is not major in relation to the large size of the crystal. Otherwise this is a fine, somewhat gemmy crystal with bright yellow-green color that is more green than seen on some computer monitors.
