An eye-catching large multi colored piece with white flattened rhombs of Calcite scattered on Chalcopyrite that has covered a previous generation of Calcite. The colorful metallic Chalcopyrite engulfs the Calcite crystals and mimics their forms. Very impressive color contrasts. Some of the second generation calcite has dings on the edges and the outer edges of the piece have some cleaved areas. Nearly all from this small find has substantial damage, by comparison this is very minor and not very distracting
A single sharp, gemmy calcite crystal that has a light amber color and is in outstanding condition. Great form and luster, the clarity at the tip is very good. Shimen has produced some very fine calcites, among the world's best they are still a bargain compared with most other locations.

A sawn matrix block shows an open vug with several forms of cinnabar crystals, some are gemmy and very sharp reaching 1 cm. Some damage to crystals at the edge of the pocket but not excessive. This relatively dense coverage (there are about 10 crystals here) is not common and the best crystals here are very good indeed.

A substantial cluster of fine calcites in very good condition and with great translucence and some transparency. The largest crystal is 13 CM and the color is a light yellow to amber ranging to white. A good sized cabinet piece this has several possible display sides.

A single tabular crystal perfectly perched on a reddish muscovite matrix. The crystal could not be better displayed, and is in fine condition. The crystal is 5.5 CM across and over 2 cm thick with a light green to blue color and some clear parts showing some etching. Tiny bits of muscovite are embedded in the beryl adding some texture. Really great form on this small cabinet piece!

Rich colored mimetites to over 1.4 cm on the usual Pingtouling crumbly Gossan. Far better than average with well presented crystals. Will need special packaging for shipment . These are no longer available and the prices are fast increasing. These are fast becoming a true classic. they certainly some of the most beautifully crystallized Mimetites ever!

A reddish druzy quartz matrix hosts several well formed ruby color sphalerite crystals reaching 2.3 CM and clusters to 5.3 cm. With top or backlighting the crystals glow well, they look darker red to black with front light. There is some nice bright galena as well. This like many has been sawn for removal. This may also be a good candidate for artful re trimming. Very reasonably priced!

Matrix with very well crystallized bright green prisms standing on end. Individual crystals to .9cm displays very well. This type of Pyromorphite is simply no longer being found, it has proven to be one of the greatest of all the Chinese mineral finds, and old stock of this quality is fast disappearing. a very fine miniature at a very good price.
