Extraordinary mint-green acicular needle crystals form a sparkling mass on green and colorless Grossular crystals. This is the only example we have seen of green Pectolite from Jeffrey, or from anyplace for that matter. A few tiny Diopsides are also seen with magnification. Very bright and attractive. Some of he Pectolite needles are the typical white color close to the terminations but green near the base. Displays well from several angles, really different and special from the great Jeffrey mine.

A completely transparent cluster of Garnets that has no matrix and yet also has good isolation of the largest crystals. A relatively three dimensional specimen that has an unusual "etched" or melted look to several crystals. With strong magnification this is seen as complex modifications to edges and very fine striations that are not typical. An attractive and (in my experience) rare oddity that is also affordable. Internal clarity is near 100 clean facet grade gem.

One of the rarest colors of Grossular from Jeffrey is pink, and especially desirable is on a contrasting green Diopside. Far above average size for the main crystal at 1.2 CM and gemmy. Sharp edges and bright luster make this especially attractive. There are some contacts and chips mostly on smaller crystals but these are not easily seen. This also keeps the cost far below the usual level for a Jeffrey pink. This could be trimmed to a very fine thumbnail if desired.

A thin plate of matrix hosts two generations of sharp, gem Grossular. The larger crystals are the well known orange hue but the smaller crystals are colorless to light pink. A nice and uncommon contrast. This is in fine condition, no damage seen at 10X magnification. Excellent glassy luster, sharp striations and quite three dimensional.

An unbelievable killer "bonsai tree"! This small thumb from the great Jeffrey mine is unique. Perfect display and undamaged all around. The Garnets are the deep emerald green color that are called "Chrome Grossular" and are gem clear. The Trunk of the tree is a single complete Prehnite crystal of the elongated prismatic habit. We have handled quite a few bright green Grossular but have never even seen such an esthetic combination. Simply extraordinary for the locality and for the specie. Top notch competition level, really a once in a lifetime thumbnail.
A sculptural thumbnail with sharp, glass-clear crystals and deep color. It is possible to fine details in the matrix right through the Garnets. Crystals completely encrust a "thumb" of matrix on all sides. The luster is top notch, and there is no damage. With strong magnification the matrix shows several different micro crystals not identified. Fine striations on every crystal show different structures.

Perfect isolated gem clear garnets nested on contrasting matrix. This large thumbnail shows exactly the form and habit that is most desired from Jeffrey mine. This sort of isolation and quality have become iconic specimens in larger sizes. Those larger plates are rare and coveted, they sell for mid 6 figures. This is a scaled down model of that style of specimen, choice and esthetic but smaller and far less costly.

A very attractive miniature specimen with the main Flourite of 2 CM perched on top of a Barite matrix. Pristine on the display face but contacted on the back side, this is a very well formed Fluorite from an important Canadian location.
