A glassy luster yellow-green cluster of sharp and partly gemmy Vesuvianites. The overall arrangement and esthetics are very attractive, this really displays well. Most of the crystals are sharply terminated and damage free, but a few show re-crystallization on old broken surfaces, this can look like damage on a quick glance but it is not. Were it not for the recrystallized zones this would be a far more expensive specimen. Avery good value for the size, color and esthetics.

A pretty and fine specimen that is a rather hard to describe and to photograph. A cluster of transparent garnets with a tiny bit of matrix. It is easy to see the matrix through the clear Grossular, and with magnification individual crystals of Clinochlore and what looks like Diopside can be seen inside the crystals. Undamaged, clear and with very, very glassy luster, this has outstanding deep color and is far better in person.

A killer quality gem clear Diopside cluster with a light sherry color is perched on a contrasting matrix of white Diopside and bright green Vesuvianite. In outstanding condition this has fine eye-catching esthetics, showing the tabular crystals in a perfect stack. A really attractive piece with an unusual composition. A small "mountain" of tiny Vesuvianite crystals (mixed green, purple and pink) are the base for a single gem clear crystal jutting out of the summit. A bright, high luster piece that is unlike any other we have seen. In very good condition, a few crystals show some breaks that recrystallized. Micro level chips exist that are not seen without magnification. The summit crystal is especially clear and perfect. This is the kind of specimen that helped make this closed mine a world classic.

Brilliant form and esthetics, this is gemmy Vesuvianite of top quality, would make a fine competition thumbnail. The transparent green crystals are far more glassy in person, and the arrangement of radiating prisms is very organic looking. The display impact for the size is remarkable.

An unusual and attractive combo, bright yellowish-green crystals of Vesuvianite are scattered on a branching crystals that were previously identified as Pectolite but now seen to be at least in part Aragonite or similar Carbonate. We have just sent off a sample for analysis to confirm. Both the Vesuvianite and the Pectolite/ Aragonite are in excellent condition- no damage can be found even with 40X magnification, which is incredible for such delicate minerals. The Vesuvianites are perched so that it is easy to see they are doubly terminated.

This is an intense electric pink Vesuvianite, undamaged and sparkling bright. The matrix is micro-crystallized Vesuvianite also but a light mint green color which makes a nice contrast. This color Vesuvianite is quite rare and this is a very esthetic piece with a lot of impact for the size.

Gem clear, sharp and with great luster, this is a very strong small display piece of transparent garnet. The plate is undamaged and the whole specimen is translucent to transparent. Relatively affordable for one of this quality, this piece shows well the brilliance that made the Jeffrey Mine world famous. The color is a mid orange-red with just a hint of pink hues in some lighting.
