5.8 x 4.9 x 4.1 CM (cabinet)

Pre Holiday 2017
A superb small cabinet Epidote and Prehnite specimen from the prolific find in Mali. Of the many specimens that have come out few have this bright luster, color and esthetics. The Prehnite ball is elegantly encased by the Epidote crystals that are in perfect condition. Far better than typical "mine run" quality. Due to the large recent production, this is an economical yet very choice specimen.

Sharp, gemmy undamaged and esthetic as well, this is a fine epidote showing a good olive green color. Looks a lot like a classic Austrian specimen but it is from Shigar. Display equally well from either side, a really great value for a good alpine style piece.

7.3 x 5.9 x 4.1 CM (cabinet)

Winter 2016-17
A fine classic Epidote from Green Monster that was collected by Ed Over, formerly in the Warren Johansson collection. From the legendary find by Over more than 70 years ago, this has fine doubly terminated Epidote crystals over 4 CM in size. Nicely sprinkled with Quartz crystals some of which have green Epidote inclusions. In excellent condition, a very choice specimen that is more impressive in person.
Lustrous oil-green prisms are well presented on the contrasting Actinolite. From a less well known Northeastern US locality (the Ore Hill Mine, Warren, NH) Ex Bob Whitmore collection, the condition is excellent. Choice piece from an uncommon locale.

Sharp. clean prismatic Epidote crystals from a less known locality. Crystals are well terminated and reach 2.5 CM in length. The only noticable damage is on the outside edges where this was removed, otherwise this is in quite good condition.

Hachupa (Hashupi). Shigar Valley, Skardu District
Gilgit-Baltistan,

6.4 x .8 x .7 CM (small cabinet/ large miniature)
price: $160
A single sharp complete Epidote crystal that is nicely terminated, clear and glassy. Unlike many of the Pakistani Epidotes which are flattened in cross section, this is a pencil like prism that also shows color zoning from greenish brown to yellow. Very good condition and a nice, simple yet affordable gem crystal.
