Adamite crystals with glassy luster and classic bipyramidal form in dense cluster on Gossan matrix. One "finger" of Adamite has fully encased a knob of Goethite adding a nice 3 dimensional touch. Pale green-yellow color, good fluorescence and damage-free in the center areas with just typical edge breaks on the outer margins. Since the Ojuela Mine has produced so much nice Adamite, good specimens in many colors continue to be a very good value for collectors.

A pretty yet affordable miniature of the rarest color of Adamite, a good deep magenta-purple. Ex Les Hitchings collection, this has larger crystals with purple to white zoning and smaller crystals with a more vivid purple. As is typical of these Adamites the color is more concentrated and vivid at the terminations. The matrix holds a bonus some micro slender Legrandite crystals on the backside in a small vug of the Goethite matrix.

Sparkling reddish-pink Calcites encrust and contrast with green Adamite balls. Great luster and vivid color, this is hard to fully appreciate in photos but has really good display impact. Most of the Adamite is fully encased under the Calcite but it is seen clearly at some angles. Ojuela has produced many fine Adamites in many habits during a long history. This color combo is not so common, this miniature piece is in fine undamaged condition and would go well in a suite of choice Mexican minerals.

Adamite crystals standing up from the limonite matrix in both white and light mint green colors. Early seventies vintage specimen from Mina Ojuela, ex Les Hitchings collection. Vivid fluorescence and in excellent condition. A few Calcite crystals are also on the matrix but this is mostly all Adamite. So much good Adamite came out during that period in many habits that these were under respected. Currently much less is coming out and we know this was a golden age for the worlds best examples of this specie. Choice display with good visual impact for the size.

Bright lemon-green color Adamite crystals with grading to colorless near their base. These are sharp and lustrous with very good relief from the matrix. Ojuela has produced vast numbers of Adamites in many hues and habits, these are modern classics and quite affordable compared to the mineral from anyplace else. A sparkling miniature of well developed crystals and choice, less common color.
Killer thumbnail of sharp Manganoan Adamite crystals clustered like a crown on a base of lemon yellow to green Adamites. The Manganoan crystals have light purple and reddish-pink zones with glassy luster, transparent in areas. . Ex collections of Willard Perkins (inventor of the Perky box) and Kay Robertson. In excellent condition, the display side is perfect and competition grade, the backside is contacted where it grew on host rock. With all the fine Adamites to come out of Ojuela it can be hard to find one that is exceptional or stands out. This one is top level with a unique form.

An especially esthetic, sharp flower-like burst of Manganoan (purple-magenta tipped) Adamite. This cluster rests on a solid gossan matrix like an ice cream cone, and has excellent proportions. Fine luster and condition, in person a little more purple color is noted. Ojuela produced only a few of these that looked this good, a quality, competitive thumbnail. Collected pre 2000, perhaps much older.
