An unusual and esthetic pale Amethyst that is scepter-like but with ten terminations on the cap. Some colorless secondary growths are evident and the condition is quite choice, the only damage is at the bottom or base where this wqas removed. Collected some decades ago by Paul Yung, this is a clean, odd but attractive US Quartz. The color is a little deeper in person.
A sharp, gem clear Goboboseb Amethyst that has a good sized movable bubble and excellent zoning. Unlike most of these so called Brandburgs, this one has no chips or dings, and is far better in person. The Goboboseb area is a very harsh place for digging Quartz, and the small miners camped there do not often find crystals this clean. These Quartz are one of the mineral kingdoms best values.

From the find 3 years ago in the almost unpronounceable locale of Boekenhoutshoek, Mkobola. This is the sought after deep purple color that has not been found in more recent digging there. This small cabinet piece has excellent form and color. "Cactus" habit quartz are usually much more pale or are not even purple. The royal purple this piece has is the most uncommon and most desired. In fine undamaged condition,
A single slender dark purple Amethyst (7.3 CM long)rises from a small cleft in a pale green Prehnite layer. A nice example of a typical habit Goboboseb specimen. Some zoning in the Quartz and in very good condition.
