Colorful, sparkling sprays of radiating Chrysocolla filling a vug in ore. The drusy Quartz covers the Chrysocolla and there is a zone of light blue druzy as well. In fine condition, this deposit has been exhausted for many years these Chrysocolla are modern classics.

A cluster of Chrysocolla "fingers" with perfect, undamaged tips from the Ray Mine,(Arizona, USA). Sometimes called stalactites, that is not technically correct as there is no central canal or hole in the middle. This has excellent turquoise color and a pearly luster. Close exam shows the thin layer of Quartz that is like a skin over the Chrysocolla. It is very hard to find such perfect examples with all the fingers intact. A colorful and classic USA copper specie.

Crystallized Azurite rosettes replaced by Malachite which is partly to fully replaced by Chrysocolla. A modern classic find from Whim Creek, this is an especially choice specimen with a stout stalactitic Goethite matrix. A few small Wulfenite crystals are also noted on the matrix as are more recent tiny balls of Malachite. In fine condition. The rosettes vary in color from blue-green to green and are in both clusters and isolated balls. All the rosettes display very good crystal forms that faithfully show the original Azurite structures. These were found over 30 years ago and often in cabinet sized specimens. A modern classic.

Slender and very elongated fingers of Chrysocolla with both bright blue and greenish-yellow colors. Delicate forms that are remarkably all in perfect condition and undamaged. Impressive form and color in this cluster of translucent Chrysocolla. From a recently rediscovered old stock of the 1978 find at the Ray Mine, this is a choice example of a quality rarely available. A classic for Arizona and the USA this piece comes from the Ball Park Bench find. Unlike most other pieces in the find this has minimal Quartz present but there is an outer skin of greenish Chrysocolla and Quartz mix that gives a very unusual appearance. Unique and choice.

Long and unusually slender fingers of Chrysocolla are coated with a thin layer of translucent Quartz. The blue color of the Chrysocolla is still seen through the Quartz layer. Undamaged with fine form this cluster of stalactitic Chrysocolla is relatively thin, delicate and yet in fine condition. From recently rediscovered old boxes of the 1978 find at the Ray Mine, this is a choice example of a quality rarely available. A classic for Arizona and the USA this piece comes from the Ball Park Bench find. The Quartz is a milky overgrowth that is translucent so the entire specimen glows blue with backlighting.

A killer thumbnail of stalactitic Chrysocolla. The fingers are all slender, elongated and have thing overgrowths of transparent Quartz. The color is vivid though the Quartz layer and when backlit the piece glows an intense blue. From a recently rediscovered old stock of the 1978 find at the Ray Mine, this is a choice example of a quality rarely available. A classic for Arizona and the USA this piece is from the Ball Park Bench find. The Quartz is a clear transparent overgrowth that has a glassy luster. In incredible, fine condition which is remarkable for these slender and delicate growths. Of the 12 fingers here there is only one tip that is incomplete and one finger on the backside is contacted. Neither of those is visible in normal display, this is a super esthetic US classic thumb.
