A very good classic habit Touissit Anglesite that is the natural color "lemon" hue. Very lustrous and sharp, some small contacts and chips are there but still the quality and condition is far above average, and still relatively affordable. More transparent that is seen in the photos, these have now become quite rare and pricey in this quality. A good value. Ex Charles M. Noll collection.

3.5 x 2.5 x 3 CM (small miniature/ large thumbnail (toenail))
price: $425
Winter 2016-17
A single crystal of Anglesite in the pointed habit that has had some dissolution pockets near the base that are now filled with crystallized Arsentsumebite and Mottramite. Nice color contrast and a pearly luster on the Anglesite add character. Some minor bruises exist at 10 magnification these look like typical bruising but at 40X magnification it seems some of this is partly recrystallized so these are more likely semi-healed old in-situ damage or contacts. A nice piece with a rather uncommon association.

Winter 2016-17
An great old Tsumeb classic specimen. This is a milky-blue single crystal well-terminated but cleaved on the base as seen. A tiny bit of Malachite is seen on one edge, otherwise this is all bluish Anglesite. I am told that these were found only in the upper reaches of the first oxidized zone (the "green hill"). Not often available with such size and good luster.

Several super sharp, gemmy clear Anglesites are scattered on this Galena matrix. The largest is about 2CM long and stands above the matrix nicely. There is a repair on the specimen that is more or less invisible but it is there and keeps the price lower. Lots better in person and overall in fine condition, this is simply an esthetic, fine colorless Anglesite

An esthetic, super clear, razor sharp and untreated (natural color) Anglesite. From the great finds in 1980-90 at Touissit, these are now regarded as the world's best for the specie. Far better in person, this is a delicate light greenish yellow hue and from some angles shows fine internal rainbows. Undamaged by naked eye, very tiny chips can be found only with 20X magnification, this is virtually perfect and quite impressive for this very fragile mineral!
