A sharp and curious old English specimen of Daisy bed or Daisy Wheel habit gypsum crystals on matrix. Some of the flowers have the rare but desirable Rhombohedral crystal preserved at the center or core of the flowers. The matrix has these flowers displayed on two sides.

The Eisieben Mines date back to the end of the 19th century (or more), worked for Copper and Nickel, but from time to time some excellent Selenite was found. This is a choice piece, in pristine condition, with sharp delicate prisms on matrix. In person the transparency is far more impressive.

A cute, gem clear crystallized and esthetic Selenite from the famed Naica Mine. Crystals to 4 CM long are sharp and undamaged with perfect transparency. Selenite (Gypsum) is a common mineral but good specimens like this are rare. The photos look somewhat cloudy inside the crystals however in person they are all absolutely clear with excellent luster
