So called fossil Bamboo, these are technically not fossils but casts where greenish-yellow to orange color Agate had formed on the outside of bamboo stems (Genus Equisetum) or other sorts of plant growths. The plants are long gone of course leaving behind hollow voids with a thin skin exterior. The overall look is a lot like a Cadmium Smithsonite and is quite esthetic, botryoidal and very eye-catching. One of the best we have seen from this find in Java, the completeness and color are especially nice. A very odd and uncommon sort of Quartz!

A complete nodule of bright banded Agate with especially vivid coloring. Excellent contrast with strong pinks, yellows and light violet banding mixed with white zones. These have a complete undamaged rim. Laguna Agates have become prized since they can have such unusual hues and rich coloring. This is a nice small nodule very reasonably priced for the quality.

A pair of sliced and polished Laguna agates with unusual bright pink, yellow and orange hues. One of the pair is the end piece of the nodule the other is a two sided slice and these match well.
