Wulfenite "windowpane" type
stock #19.1-994
Rowley Mine, (Reliance Mine), Theba, Painted Rock District
Arizona,
United States
1.8 x 1.6 x 1 CM (thumbnail)
price: $160
A smaller thumbnail that has a super presentation. Two main Wulfenite windows are nicely perched on a sliver of crystalized Calcite matrix. Very tiny balls of red Mimetite add color so that at certain angles the Wulfenites are a more reddish or yellow depending on the perspective. In fine condition as seen, this looks great from several angles. The Rowley mine tended to have smaller and more delicate Wulfenites but they could be incredibly esthetic. A choice little piece with more display impact than might be expected.

Arizona,
United States
4.7 x 4 x 3.8 CM (miniature)
price: $1100
An outstanding Copper specondary specimen, a miniature Aurichalcite from the famed 79 Mine. The condition is exceptional and the display impact is also top notch. Some of the best Aurichalcites ever found came from this small mine years ago but are not often available in this quality. In incredible undamaged condition, remarkable for such a delicate specimen. A few small clear balls of radiating Hemimorphites add a nice contrast too. Brilliant color and luster give this a great display impact much bigger than the size. Really far better in person.
