Sphalerite (Cleiophane) with Galena
stock #9.1-154
Krushev Dol Mine, Madan, Rhodope Mts.
Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria
6.7 x 4.6 CM (cabinet)
price: $350

A big (2.9 CM) yellow-green Sphalerite compound crystal sits perfectly on a matrix of galena and some quartz.. Outstanding condition, this is rare older Madan material that is not often available.

Tourmaline (Elbaite) in stacked prisms
stock #8.1-449
Golconda Pegmatite district, Governador Valadares, Doce Valley
Minas Gerais, Brazil
4.9 x 1.6 CM (miniature)
price: $425

A fine zoned green gem crystal with a remarkable and rare termination. This looks like a reversed scepter as the inner termination rises above the base prism. Very sharp and clean, there are some very tiny chips on a few edges but not distracting at all. Pretty much all gem with green color ranging from yellowish to a deeper bottle green color.

Wulfenite
stock #8.1-348
Tuokexun County, Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China
6 x 4.8 x 3.8 CM (cabinet)
price: $600

Rich deep orange color and glassy luster make this a very good eye-catcher. Crystals reach 2.4 CM in with many complete and well positioned. There is damage but in context it is easy to overlook, yet it keeps this from a much higher price point.

Wulfenite
stock #8.1-337
Tuokexun County, Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China
6.8 x 5.9 CM (cabinet)
price: $600

A very unusual and attractive Wulfenite of exceptional delicacy. This is an unusual habit for this find (and almost all Wulfenite localities) that is a little like some older San Fransisco Mine and Tiger pieces, but not quite. This habit has irregular shaped blades with thin, tapered edges and seem to be complexly recrystallized and so seem very rounded and less geometric. The crystals are insanely thin sometimes thinner than a piece of paper. Consequentially there is edge damage in many areas, and some breakage but many of the larger crystals are relatively good and complete. For this ultra delicate style this is the best condition example I have seen, it is a good piece for the collector who seeks the unusual and can accept some damage.

Wulfenite
stock #8.1-342-(stk)
Tuokexun County, Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China
4.9 x 4 CM (miniature)
price: $1250

Fantastic bright red-orange color and eye-catching form, this is a very 3- dimensional crystal cluster. There is almost no matrix, just interlocked bright Wulfenite. Some damage can be found but not badly detracting most of the major crystals are quite good and the overall quality is fine. This Wulfenite has unusual geometric outlines on some crystals that show complex parallel inter-growths. Good luster and presentation; a very good value.

Wulfenite
stock #8.1-369
Tuokexun County, Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China
9.1 x 7.7 CM (cabinet)
price: $2200

Big, lustrous and colorful, this Wulfenite has bright crystals reaching over 3 CM in size. Very strong visual impact, most of the largest crystals are also undamaged, and several habits can be seen. There is some damage but it is easily overshadowed by very fine large red crystals.

Wulfenite
stock #8.1-338
Tuokexun County, Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China
7.8 X 6.1 CM (cabinet)
price: $700

A showy and delicate Wulfenite with orange-brown color that sparkles n good lighting. The matrix is a thing gossan and the backside has many small vugs loaded with small bright red crystals. This has less damage than typical and since these delicate crystals are paper thin it is still in remarkably good condition. However since this is not pristine, the price is far less than if perfect (over 3000.$ in China when available). Displays well, this is an esthetic example.

Wulfenite (stacked bladed form crystals)
stock #8.1-349
Tuokexun County, Tulufan Prefecture
Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China
6.1 x 4 CM (cabinet)
price: $400

Bright red-orange with glass luster this is an eye catching arrangement. Crystals reaching over 2.5 CM in a pile up on a small amount of gossan matrix, this is very attractive and somewhat unusual for this find. Most crystals here have a jagged, multiply re-crystallized thin edges, There is damage here as usual in these very slender and delicate blades, but the presentation is still good overall. A very good value at this price if you don't need absolute perfection, but still like a good displayable specimen.
