From a small and very unusual find, this is an unusual and esthetic combination piece. The powder blue spheres are perched on needle crystals of deep green Malachite for a very nice contrast. The blue balls are mostly in clusters but some are also well-isolated. No damage and displayable from any angle, this find was quickly exhausted, there has been no more found. A different and distinctive form for Shattuckite, this habit is unlike anything from any other locality.
A very fine and unusual miniature specimen that looks like blueberries on an evergreen bush. From a small recent find at Okandawasi (Namibia) in the Kaokoveld. This is composed of needle crystals of primary Malachite in a complex cluster. The Shattuckite is in powder blue balls with a matte luster and are perched on the branches. An unusual form and with very memorable esthetics for these Copper minerals.
A super attractive miniature from a small new find. This piece was selected from just a few pieces that came out recently as it has just great form and presentation. Aside from that one small lot I have not seen any others before or since. The Shattuckite balls are both isolated and in small clusters. From some angles these look like berries on an evergreen tree. The Malachite is all primary crystals with sharp acicular form. In excellent condition, displays well from all sides. A great Copper secondary specimen that is really different.
