A well-formed elongated stack of cubic green Fluorite crystals with purple zones. From the Erongo mountains we normally see some elongated spinel twins or octahedral crystals in chains but this stack of cubes is very unusual. The chain has a slight taper towards the base and also has a very slight twist on close exam. A unique, complete undamaged specimen that looks fine on all sides, a minor contact on the base and perfect termination on top.
An attractive and very unusual Fluorite for those who enjoy oddities. A snakelike cluster of Fluorite crystals which on close exam are all octahedral and aligned in a stack with a little curve and even some blending of faces so the whole looks like a stretched prism on some edges. From the prolific Erongo Mountains (Namibia) where some wonderful and rare forms have turned up over the years. This is also impressive when backlit the green crystals are seen to have a lighter inner zone with a distinct deep yellow to orange line running the length of the stack, much like a faden line. This does not show in the photos as they are not strongly backlit. All the crystals show a bit of etching and textured faces as well. The top of the piece shows a distinct termination or octahedral edge while the base is more etched and less distinct. No bruises or damage to note, a very odd and oddly attractive Fluorite. Far more impressive in person too.
Violet crystals of Fluorite with complex rounded faces most of which are on and included by Schorl crystals. A scattering of small Quartz and Goshenite. In excellent condition, bright and lustrous, the Fluorites have color zoning in areas with a darker red-purple and these all glow with any backlighting. A clean and attractive Erongo piece that can be displayed from almost any angle.

Colorful zoned Fluorite crystals are perched on a jumble of lustrous Schorl crystals from Erongo. Close exam of the Fluorites shows they are also included by dark tourmalines some of which have areas of transparency. The Fluorites have some spots of deep purple set in a light blue background. These crystals are somewhat etched and show some spinel twinning as well. The Schorl crystals are in two habits some with the fibrous habit faces and others with prismatic forms. All are quite lustrous and with two different termination types. Overall very esthetic and striking specimen from a find in 2018. The pegmatites of Erongo have given up some remarkable pockets over the years many of which were unique having unusual habits and forms not seen in any other. We have not seen any more recent finds of this style.
A cute Erongo combo specimen that has several doubly terminated Aquamarine crystals splayed on a mixed crystalline matrix. The Beryls have some transparency but overall they are a milky translucent. The Erongo Mountains have endless varieties of interesting minerals and produce enough volume that nice things can be found at any price point.

White to colorless Beryl (Goshenite) in elongated crystals in a cluster with only a tiny sliver of matrix. Translucent to transparent, glassy and sharp, the crystals are terminated with flat basal tops. From the Erongo Mountains, it is surprising how rare colorless Beryl is compared to some of the many colored varieties. This is a nice addition to an Beryl suite. Most Goshenite we see from Erongo are tiny crystals usually with Schorl or Feldspar. This piece having pure Goshenite in good size (to 2.6 CM) is very unusual and significant.

The Erongo Mountains sometimes produce some very exotic and amazing Fluorites. This is an excellent example with stacked "melted look" crystals completely enclosing crystals and sprays of Schorl. The Fluorites are all Spinel twinned, the highly etched surface gives an unusual look and the whole piece is simply bizarre. In fine condition a neat small miniature.

A fine miniature from the Erongo that features a gem clear Goshenite Beryl perched atop a cluster of purple Fluorite that is offset with lustrous black Schorl. In excellent condition the front display side is in perfect shape, the base area is contacted. Few of this find were so distinctive. Choice, esthetic and well balanced.
