Textbook perfect example of epitaxial stepped growth, this is very fine modern classic Mexican specimen. The bright purple Fluorite cube sits on contrasting matrix, and is from the Tule Mine, well-known for good Fluorites usually on Celestite blades. This piece is unusual in both the matrix and the well-developed habit of the crystal. The crystal is sizable 3.8 CM diagonal and has darker purple zoning at the outer edges. This is an especially choice example of this style from the late 1970 era finds that are unlike the better known specimens on Celestite. Displays super well from several angles.
An exciting new find at a classic old mine, gem clear Fluorites in delicate purple contrast with the bright white Celestite crystals. The Tule Mine was famed for large Celestite with blocky Fluorites that were usually dark and not clear. This find is different, the crystals are smaller but glass-clear and highly lustrous. Affordable yet attractive, undamaged and choice miniature.

Two very gemmy, zoned purple crystals are perched attractively on a contrasting Celestine. An older example from the collection of Larry White. The Fluorites are exceptionally sharp, clear and show the classic stepping that is the signature of this now classic location. As a bonus the Fluorites are sprinkled with sparkling clear to amber colored Calcites. The dark edge zoning is especially pronounced and the specimen is far better than typical. The display side of this is very clean damage wise, the only cleaves are on the backside that are not visible when displayed.
