Elegant branching tendrils of Copper in a treelike tangle from the White Pine Mine. Close exam shows these to be delicate chains of elongated Copper crystals. This locale is a classic locality for fine Copper and Silver specimens, this one is especially esthetic, and has a nice patina. Ex Larry White collection, Larry had excellent taste for native metals and esthetic compositions. The White Pine mine was famed for its spectacular branching coppers. Specimens like this piece are very very different from most other locales in the Upper Peninsula, and for that matter anyplace else.

Spring update
A native Silver crystal tree with contrasting white Calcite scattered on the branches. Classic specimen from the famed White Pine Mine of Michigan. The crystals are typically crude but distinct enough to see the basic forms well. No damage and displays well, a choice miniature with character.
An impressive, fully crystallized "tree" with elegant form and very sharp spinel twin branches. Very few examples are so well-formed, sharp and distinct. A relatively old piece (pre 1965's) from the classic White Pine Mine. The habit and form is unmistakable from this unique deposit. Excellent esthetics and top notch quality that is impossible to find on the market today. Far better in person!
