A textbook perfect pseudomorph that has the exact form of the original Azurite crystal fully altered to a velvety Malachite. A few tiny bits of Cuprite and Copper are seen with strong magnification on the gossan matrix, but overall this is all about the very fine Malachite. A classic US specimen from the Sacremento Mine at Bisbee, we are told this is from a pre 1929 collection but there are no old labels. Certainly no specimens of this quality have been found for many decades, and will not be seen again.
