A fine miniature from the Erongo that features a gem clear Goshenite Beryl perched atop a cluster of purple Fluorite that is offset with lustrous black Schorl. In excellent condition the front display side is in perfect shape, the base area is contacted. Few of this find were so distinctive. Choice, esthetic and well balanced.

Superb clear colorless beryl (Goshenite) crystals are scattered on a series of radiating sprays of shining black Schorl. The overall effect is striking and the beryl crystals are perfectly clear. Goshenite is surprisingly rare as almost a;ll Beryl has some color. The condition of this is good overall but a few Schorl have tip damage that is seen in the photos. The Beryl however is all perfect and with glasslike luster. Classic and attractive Erongo material.

pre Tucson 2015 update
Unusually gem clear, free standing Beryl crystal from this world-class locale. The main crystal is sharp and undamaged, a few wispy veils are seen inside from some angles. A very faint hint of blue is noted but this is essentially colorless Beryl (Goshenite) which is surprisingly rare. Sawn on the underside as is usual for collecting these, it sits well on the flat base.
