Arsenbrakebuschite with prismatic Mimetite, Tsumcorite? and Descloizite
stock #13.1-040
Mina Ojuela, Mapimi
Durango, Mexico
8.8 x 6.5 x 3.9 CM (cabinet)
price: $320
Fall 2015

Cabinet specimen well-crystallized with many prismatic gemmy hexagons of Mimetite to about 8mm that are set on and mixed with yellow to orange tufts of Arsenbrackebuschite. The prisms of Mimetite are a more rare habit at Ojuela. There is also what seems a perfect match for Tsumcorite (which has also been found in this assemblage), but this was not tested. A few Mimetites have some damage (not seen by my naked eye) but most are perfect with a yellowish to transparent grey color. This would make many thumbnails and micro-specimens if split up. As is, a rich cabinet specimen for these rare minerals.
