Rich, bright vivid blue Cyanotrichite covers the display surface of the specimen. An older piece, ex John Marshall collection, and before that from the remarkable collection of Gunnar Bjarby and also David Garske. Five old labels are included. While the druse of Cyanotrichite is composed of very tiny crystals and spherical clusters, the dense coverage is impressive by naked eye. The back side of this piece also has a fair sized area of Cyanotrichite and old labels, collection numbers etc. A rich piece for a lesser known but still classic US locale.
Richly colorful mix of copper species featuring large masses of hairy Cyanotrichite. Classic Arizona specimen with rich blue and green hues. In addition to the listed species there are several other micro crystals including what looks like very tiny Spangolites, but that is just a guess and they are very small, hard to see well even at 40X magnification. No matter the main event is the hairy masses and mats of Cyanotrichite. Ex Hitchings collection, this was purchased by him in 1984.
