Not a pretty specimen but ultra rare, a confirmed Arizona Lanarkite. This blocky matrix holds two small zones of Lanarkite and a few scattered very tiny Cerussite crystals. The largest bit is clearly eye visible (though still small) greenish yellow and 4mm across. This Lead secondary specimen comes from a small long closed polymetallic mine that has yielded very few other pieces, mostly all being micros. An uncommon mineral that is especially rare in the USA, this Lanarkite is not clearly crystalized mostly in platy cleaved masses. One very tiny spiky form crystal is seen only with very high power magnification. A very hard to get addition for any comprehensive Arizona suite.
