Dense clusters of golden-brown Eosphorite needle crystals on contrasting Rose Quartz. The Eosphorite is transparent and very lustrous. The condition is excellent which is impressive for these slender, delicate crystals. The Rose Quartz is also well-crystalized, the largest prism is over 1 CM though most are smaller. An excellent example of the specie which is also attractive and undamaged.
Thumbnail specimen of gemmy Eosphorite crystals in a radiating spray on Quartz matrix. As is sometimes the case there are micro crystals of Zanazzite associated. The condition is excellent and by naked eye perfect. At 20X magnification one small crystal can be found that has some termination damage. Remarkable for this delicate mineral in such long, slender crystals. great value.
Delicate sprays of perfect transparent Eosphorite crystals are clustered on crystalline Rose Quartz. From the Richard Gaines collection, this is older material from several decades ago. The color contrast and sparkling luster make this often unattractive mineral an attractive display specimen. Even better in person.
