Big and lustrous with red highlights this is translucent to transparent on edges with a brilliant red when backlit. Crude but complete termination on both ends makes this an extra nice example. Better in person this is well above average, and not being found now.
From the now classic finds at Brumado, a very well-composed cluster of glassy deep green crystals. In fine condition with a few tiny flecks of adhering Quartz, otherwise this is all Uvite. Prior to these finds almost all known Uvite was black. There seems to be little to no new production now.
A modern classic, these star shaped radial Rutile specimens are simply fantastic. When first found in Brazil, these were a huge sensation, the best ever seen. This is a good, small miniature that is far less expensive than larger examples, but still has a good impact. With brilliant luster, this specimen is a textbook example of epitaxy. These were rather plentiful from Brazilian dealers 3 years ago but are now getting scarce.
