A row of sharply terminated Epidote crystals are aligned in an epitaxial arrangement. From an old find at San Quintin in the Baja California region of Mexico, this comes from the remarkable Ernie Schlichter collection. Crystal faces alternate from highly lustrous and glassy to a more matte and frosted look. In very good condition damage-wise, just a few clean contacts and very tiny edge wear. Overall the form is a textbook fine arrangement and has a distinctive architecture. Nice example for the locality and a fine toenail of Epidote from any place.
Boleite on Atacamite, Selenite

A fine, huge Boleite crystal showing interpenetration (twinned?) on contrasting matrix. From the recently released stash (2018) of material from the classic Amelia Mine, these were a big surprise in Tucson and were quickly sold out. This is an especially choice piece of this rare mineral with a giant 1.4 CM crystal that is well exposed. Better in person the matrix has been stabilized as is normal for all these since as this matrix is very fragile. The green surface is composed of tiny Atacamite grains that are naturally cemented on the matrix, which is mostly Selenite but also has a few chunks of Anglesite embedded as well. Matrix pieces with this quality and size have not been available for many years.
Boleite - large single crystal

A big, sharp and complete Boleite crystal from finds in the early 70s. The diagonal measurement is 1.3 CM, with great color and in pristine condition, the photos pretty much show it well. It is now quite hard to find crystals with such sharp edges, bright luster and large size.
