Euclase- colorless gem crystal
stock #8-AE-791
Conselheiro Pena, Doce Valley
Minas Gerais,
Brazil
3 x 1.6 x .7 (small miniature/ large thumbnail (toenail))
price: $380
Pre Holiday 2017
A perfectly clear, well terminated and sharp Euclase crystal. The faces show fine striations and the top shows a dual tip termination that is unique in our experience. If this was a blue Euclase with this clarity and sizeit would be valued in the 5 figures, but as it is colorless that is clearly not the case! An excellent example that is larger than most from this area of Brazil.
Chalcedony -"caviar agate" on red Scolecite
stock #17.1-705
Malegaon, Nasik
Maharashtra,
India
3 x 2.7 x 2.1 CM (small miniature/ large thumbnail (toenail))
price: $420
Pre Holiday 2017
An unbelievable new find! We were able to obtain what so far are the best pieces of the small but impressive pocket in Malegon, Nasik, India. The red to orange Scolecite is in a rounded mass composed of radiating needles. An impressive matrix for the small spheres of Chalcedony (or technically agate) looking like fish eggs in multiple colors. These were named "caviar agate" shortly after they first appeared, and are an amazing companion to the "grape agates" from Indonesia. This has the caviar eggs on small needle-like stalks with excellent form, color and quality. Displays brilliantly under good light as seen in these photos. A fine addition to any suite of Quartz, Agates, Indian trap minerals or simply esthetics.

Well-formed transparent Fluorite on crystalline blades of Lollingite in an attractive arrangement. A fine example from the Inner Mongolian finds at the Huanggang Mine. The display surface is perfect and undamaged, the back of the Fluorite has a clean geometric contact but is undamaged. The Lollingite from here is certainly some of the best ever found, the addition of fine Fluorite makes this miniature especially attractive.
Fluorite in Dolomite cast
stock #17.1-696
Walworth Quarry, Walworth, Wayne County
New York,
United States
3.1 x 2.8 x 1.7 CM (small miniature/ large thumbnail (toenail))
price: $160
Pre Holiday 2017
A single gem-clear cube of Walworth Fluorite is perched perfectly inside a thin Dolomite cast. Walworth Fluorites are classic but not often available as few are found each year. This is even more unusual as the thin shell or "cup" is an uncommon matrix composed of tiny Dolomte crystals. The Fluorite is clean, undamaged and colorless. This could trim to thumbnail size if desired.
One of the more famed Pseudomorphs from Tsumeb is Rosasite replacing Malachite that has replaces Azurite crystals. This is an excellent example with a thin outer zone of Rosasite that has several small Calcite rhombs sprinkled on the surface. Attractive and now quite uncommon, the main crystal is in perfect condition. Other crystals on the back and bottom side are broken showing the malachite core, does not affect display. A big thumbnail with a lot of good visual impact.
