A glassy yellow-green crystal cluster of classic form that is largely transparent from Alchuri. Doubly terminated and nearly a complete floater. There is a small edge rough spot where this was in contact with another crystal. The Pakistani Epidote can look a lot like other Alpine localities but have some distinctions too. This is a nice complete and very affordable example.
A choice, very well crystallized plate of green Ludlamite crystals from the classic Blackbird mine. Several old labels (included) date this back to 1960, which was the period when the best Ludlamites in the US were found. The Ludlamites are deep green, sharp, translucent and in clusters, balls and rosettes. A choice US classic of the quality that is almost never seen on the market today. No damage and the matrix has been stabilized to prevent crumbling of the soft Sulfide base.
A fine transparent cluster of Dolomite crystals from the classic Spanish locality of Eugui, Navarre. An uncommon matrix piece, the crystals are up to 4 CM in diameter and very sharp, undamaged. Dolomite is a very common mineral and crystals are not rare at all, but sharp, gem clear Rhombs like this are really only found at this one locality and they are very rare in such quality. Some minor dark zoning is seen but overall these are white to colorless and mostly transparent. The penetration twinning is textbook sharp and clear, an excellent piece found in 1998.

An exceptionally fine, bright metallic hexagon of Pyrrhotite dusted with a few small Siderite crystals. Ex Larry Conklin, Terry Szenics collection. In excellent condition, this is an fairly old vintage Brazilian specimen from Morro Velha, and is the sharpest with the best luster I have seen. Morro Velha has the distinction of being the longest running Gold mine in the world, it is well known for good Siderite specimens but Pyrrhotites of any size are rare. This is a nice Pyrrhotite from anyplace but incredible for Brazil. In excellent condition.

A cute thumbnail of the orange-red Wulfenites from the 2015 find in Iran. These crystals are remarkably similar to Red Cloud mine Wulfenites but the matrix is a little more complex and has many tiny Wulfenites with different habits. The main Wulfenite is contacted/ chipped on its bottom edge so this is not for a perfectionist but the contact is where this would sit and so is not visible under most display conditions. The price reflects this. Good color, transparency and sharpness.

Large translucent Emerald crystals protruding from a vuggy Quartz matrix. From a little known mine (Mina El Toro) that is in the Chivor district of Colombia, this is an attractive specimen with rich color. The main crystal is 4.3 CM long and the termination is quite choice. Quartz is a rare matrix for Colombian Emeralds since most are found in Calcite veins. On close inspection the Quartz shows several crystal faces that are distorted and bent, a very odd matrix. Displays well obviously not top facet grade but not priced at 20,000 per carat either. The form and color make this a very attractive specimen that is a fine addition to any suite of Beryls, Colombian minerals or just a collection of nice esthetic pieces.

A sharp windowpane type Wulfunite crystal on matrix that is dusted with tiny Calcite crystals. In fine condition despite the delicay of the piece, the crystal has a more red color seen from the back and a more yellow-orange from the front.

A remarkable Alpine type quartz from the amazing new finds in the Manihar Valley. The clarity of this Quartz in person looks like a fine Swiss specimen, the small areas of Chlorite and a few sprays of Rutile needles are also distinctive. A few of the prisms in this cluster are doubly terminated, and all are clear enough to see through to see the chlorite matrix on the back side. A very sculptural arrangement, there is no damage here just a few contacts and the whole is a very esthetic cluster.
