A very glassy crystal of Elbaite Tourmaline nestled in a cluster of Cleavelandite crystals. The Elbaite has five distinct colors and is fully translucent and slightly transparent. The termination is a perfect flat top type, viewed from the side it is a purple to blue cap on a band of bright green on pink. Viewed from the top however the termination is a lemon yellow-green color. From the great Paprok Mine which is famed for provided many amazing multi-color Tourmalines, this 3.8 CM crystal contrasts well with the matrix. The lower part of the crystal is contacted and the underside is incomplete but there is no damage and the top section is flawless, a lustrous and well-striated gem.

The thin sheet of metal is is from .8 to 1.2 CM thick, but weighs a hefty 124 grams, which indicates a high percentage of Silver. There is no mine attribution in the collection notes but this was obtained in the late 1940 era by trade.
