Beryl var. Aquamarine
stock #A7-044-(1271)
Sapucaia do Norte, Galileia Doce Valley
Minas Gerais, Brazil
6.6 x .8 x .5 CM (cabinet)
price: $320
Post Tucson 2015

A perfect floater etched Beryl crystal with pale green color more evident in person. No damage, the entire surface of this transparent crystal is the fine geometric etched patterns that make this type of Beryl so desirable. Bigger crystals with this degree of perfection are incredibly expensive, this smaller version is relatively affordable.

Hemimorphite with Malachite (classic old locale)
stock #0044-JM-2296
Rezbanya, Baita Mining District, Nucet
Bihor, Romania
7.4 x 6.1 x 3.5 CM (cabinet)
price: $675
Post Tucson 2015

Brilliant lustrous blue color crystals on this very old, fine classic piece. Ex Lechner, (Austria), Schortmann, and John Marshall collection, the old labels have this in Hungary (now Romania) and was in the Lechner collection prior to 1903, but likely from much earlier in the 19th century. In fine condition with an electric color, there seems to be some Chrysocolla as well as Malachite under the Hemimorphite which helps the rich color. Excellent quality, fine provenance and eye-catching sparkling esthetics that is simply impossible to find today.

Calcite xls with Siderite coating
stock #15.1-414
Dalnegorsk, Kavalerovo Mining District
Primorsky Kray, Russia
6.8 x 5.6 x 3.6 CM (cabinet)
price: $280
Post Tucson 2015

A delicate and very attractive Dalnegorsk oddity. Thin Calcite crystals showing multi phase hexagonal structures that are coated with iridescent Siderite. The luster and color are especially attractive. Some few edges have very small chips, most are pristine and overall this displays well. A few tiny Siderite pseudo after Calcite balls are on the matrix as well. There were not many of these found and none to be seen on the market now.

Rhodochrosite
stock #15.1-415
Capillitas Mine, Andagala
Catamarca, Argentina
4.3 x 4.5 x 1.2 CM (miniature)
price: $330
Post Tucson 2015

A deep, rich red Rhodo showing the fortification structures and crystalline interior of the knob. From the famed Capillitas deposit, this is a vintage specimen from the 1960's that shows the older very deep red not seen in recent finds.

Groutite on petrified wood
stock #8.AE-643
Holbrook, Navajo County
Arizona, United States
4.9 x 2.4 x 2.3 CM (miniature)
price: $200
Post Tucson 2015

A rarity from the famed petrified forests of Arizona, an agatized wood limb fragment is covered on several sides with bright shining needle crystals of Groutite. In good condition and quite unusual.

Barite on Stibnite
stock #12.1-239
Kadamzhay, Alai Range
Osh Oblast, Kyrgyztan
3.6 x 1.5 x 1.2 CM (miniature)
price: $350
Post Tucson 2015

A remarkable, delicate miniature of clear Barite crystals showing distinct phantoms neatly perched on a slender Stibnite crystal. Amazing to see there is no damage at all even under 30X magnification. The Stibnite is terminated as well but it can be difficult to see as the Barites cover it from most views. An unusual specimen from a very unusual locality that we almost never see good specimens from. Choice!
