A fine, sweet pinwheel style Adamite with brilliant color and luster. Minimal matrix this is mostly just a pure, bright Adamite specimen. In fine condition there is no damage aside from the outer edge contacts seen in the photos. The tiny crystals that compose the wheels are perfectly terminated and pristine. A very pretty example that is hard to find now.

A delicate and complex Cerussite fro m the recent find at Mina Ojuela. These are glassy crystals associated with Pyrite that have inclusions that make part of the crystals opaque. There is some green to blue-green inclusions and coatings as well so the overall look is dark. There are many crystal habits on this piece, some twinned, sixlings and untwinned prisms. Some damage exists but much less than on nearly all pieces in the find. The longest crystal is 3.1 CM, before this find Cerussite was very rare at Ojuela.

From another small but exciting new find at the great Mina Ojuela, a well crystallized bright Mimetite. The orange-red color is vibrant and the tiny crystals sparkle throughout. No damage can be seen by naked eye, but a little is seen at 20 X magnification. The individual crystals are all transparent and gemmy. A nice addition to any Ojuela suite.
A classic assemblage of Adamites with some distinct purple crystals and tiny Lothameyerite crystals scattered as well. The Geothite matrix has several vugs but the largest vug is the most logical for display with a 2.5 CM span of Adamite. The crystals are sharp, glassy and have classic form, in quite good condition, the only damage is at the edges and is mostly not naked eye visible. purple is the rarest color for Adamite and the most desired, usually these are quite expensive.

An eye popping Adamite composed mostly of "pinwheel" habit crystal aggregates on contrasting matrix. Fine luster and in excellent condition damage-wise, this has good esthetic and colorful presentation. The matrix is a mix of botryoidal Goethite and tiny Adamite crystals. The red color on some pinwheels seems to be from Fe oxides on and in the green and yellowish Adamites. Better Ojuela Adamites (which are the best in the world) have gotten quite hard to get at a reasonable price, this one is far better than average and a very good value.

Mina Oujela has been working for centuries and still has surprising finds every so often. Last year the bright Mimetites were big news, many as good as the best San Pedro pieces and with great form. Most were very damaged but some were of much better quality than the mine run. This piece is quite good, has the desirable "wet" luster, bright yellow color and a delicate form. There is also a scattering of Wulfenite blades. It is not damage free but in far better condition than 99.9 percent (edges have some chipping, some tiny bruises that are not easy to see). Otherwise this displays great, has killer form, great color and is far more affordable than usual for this quality.

Very pretty "wet look" bright Mimetite and yellow Wulfenite crystals to 1 CM from the late 2012 finds at Mapimi. When these were found everyone compared them to the legendary Mimetites of San Pedro de Coralitos from the 70's. Many considered these to have better form, color and luster. The Wulfenites are an added bonus. The largest and most perfect specimens sold quickly for huge sums and there have been none since. Most pieceS had a lot of damage and few had good Wulfenites. We have a few smaller, very nice pieces that will not break the bank and display very well. This specimen has some damage that can be seen with a careful study, but is limited and far better than 90 percent. Fine display impact for the size, this is a fraction of the price for a mediocre San Pedros piece yet has a lot more eye appeal.
